DescriptionThis bundle includes payments of the Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Cambridge Without, for contributions out of the Poor rate towards the Common Fund of the Union and other expenses; to William George Hobbs, Treasurer of the Guardians of the poor of the Chesterton region; for the salary of Assistant Overseer William Campbell; to the Corporation of Cambridge for expenses incurred in the collection of rates (A.P. Dixon, W. Heffer & Sons, postage and receipt stamps), S.G. Marshall (printers), P.H. Elliott for room hire for deposit of rate books, income tax, Foister & Jagg Ltd (printers), reimbursment of rates to J. Baker, court costs to A.W. DIlley, receipt of Poor Rate and General District Rates for named individuals.
