DescriptionThe allotments committee met approximately once a month to discuss issues relating to the management of the Borough's allotments. Issues discussed include: the setting of rules and regulations; the appointment of members of sub-committees or the collector of rents; letters read from allotment associations; applications accessed; estimates of expenditure and income; change of tenancies; action against rent arrears; acquisition of new land for allotments; and trespass notices.
