TitleA letter to the Mayor from VH Stanton, Trinity College, relating to an incident where Trinity students E Valpy and AM Bartleet were alleged to have thrown water and orange peel over a police constable
DescriptionIncludes: "They state that Mr Valpy squirted some water upon an undergraduate, one of their own friends who had just left their rooms, but upon no other person whatsoever. If any drops fell on Police Constable Nunn, it was entirely unintentional. They emphatically deny having thrown any orange peel, and say that they have not had any oranges in their rooms for a fortnight. One of their friends from another window, without their knowing it at the moment, threw a small piece of egg-shell at the Constable when he came to inquire their names."
