DescriptionA file of correspondence regarding an amendment to the scheme of Hobson's [Workhouse] Charity. The amendment (sealed by the Charity Commission 15 Jan 1937) changed the way that funds were allocated and administered including a relaxation of the rules so that some money from the Bowtell Apprenticeship fund could be used to provide maintenance grants rather than apprenticeships.
