| Description | The petitioner has previously applied to the Bedford Level Corporation to renew his lease of a cottage on the [Hundred Foot Bank] at Hundred Foot River in Oxlode to be renewed. He represents that the house was in a ruinous condition when he first entered it, that he had to rebuild it in 1792 and 1792 after the bank slipped and damaged it, and that he raised the ground by 4 ft in 1800 and rebuilt the house at his own expense. He asks to be granted a new 14 or 21 year lease, at a reasonable rent. One signatory. |
