TitleLetter from Thomas Robinson, of Lakenheath
DescriptionLetter to the Bedford Level Corporation, concerning 348 acres of Adventurers' land in Burnt Fen, which he purchased in 1822 from the residual devisee of the late John Robinson. He also purchased a further 15 acres of Adventurers' land from the Arrears Roll. He represents that he has repeatedly asked the Bedford Level Corporation to set out the land, and has been compelled to purchase the 15 acres several times from the Arrears Roll. He has recently had the whole lot surveyed, which has revealed there is a short measure in the lot. He asks to be granted possession of the 15 acres. If this is not possible, he asks for the short measure to be apportioned between the owners of land in the same lot, and for his taxes, penalties and fees to be reimbursed. One signatory. Also contains a list of the fees, penalties and payments made by Thomas Robinson.
