DescriptionAct of Parliament passed on 25 July 1663, establishing the Bedford Level Corporation. It also granted the Corporation the powers to levy a tax on all 95,000 acres of Adventurers' lands, vested 83,000 acres [of Adventurers' lands] in the Corporation, and defined the duties of the Corporation.
