| Description | Act of Parliament passed on 26 June 1656, confirming an Ordinance made by Cromwell on 26 May 1654 and giving the Society of Adventurers additional powers beyond those granted to them in the "Pretended Act" for preserving the drainage works in the Great Level of the Fens. This had the effect of making the ordinance an Act of Parliament. This is an exemplification under the Great Seal of Oliver Cromwell. |
