DescriptionDecree of the Commissioners of Sewers made at Peterborough on 11 August 1640, that 40,000 acres of Adventurers' lands were to be allotted to Francis, Earl of Bedford and the Adventurers as compensation for the sums of money they had expended draining the Great Level of the Fens. Also contains a schedule of the lands allotted to Andrew Lowe and others. It was executed by 14 of the Commissioners.
