TitleProceedings of Different Courts of Sewers
DescriptionVolume containing copies of proceedings of different Commissioners of Sewers between 1362 - 1640, in relation to the lands and works in or near the Great Level of the Fens. Also contains copies of "Lynn Law" (see BLC1/1/3); "St Ives Law" (see BLC1/1/6); a decree made by the Commissioners of Sewers at Huntingdon on 18 July 1639, revoking all earlier proceedings and declaring that Charles I was now the Undertaker; and a decree made by the Commissioners of Sewers at Peterborough on 01 August 1640 (see BLC1/1/7).
