Description | Mr. MacWilliam of London to George Thornhill Esq. Jun. of Hemingford, St. Ives. Hunts. Cannot understand how George Thornhill can lend his name and money to the Holloway Road Co. Awaiting reply from Geo. Thornhill's solicitors before giving a formal reply. Wishes to preserve a good understanding but may be an attachment against George Thornhill after case argued before Lord Chief Justice. George Thornhill has to take his chance if he continues to allow his name, money and Co. to be used to plunder other people of their property. Reply - explains how he joined the Co. and reasons for continuing with the road. Will call on him in London, by which time will have ascertained what is to be done. Does not wish to hurt anyones property. |
