TitleCourt of Exchequer: Inhabitants of Soham v. Sir Thomas Chicheley.
DescriptionWhereas in Easter Term, 1682, a claim by commoners of Soham was exhibited reciting agreements and awards of: Trinity term, 1627, Michaelmas Term, 1655, February 1658, December 1664 and December 1666. Decree of September 1668, was made appointing Sir Thomas Chicheley trustee of lands for use of the poor of Soham and other charities. Decree to convey lands to new trustees-i.e. Master of Pembroke College, Vicar of Soham and 9 others-by 1 August 1687, for uses set forth in Award of 1664.
